Jimmy
Jim passed away this morning, Sunday, December 11th, 2011 at 4AM. Macela & I, sisters Jody & Rita, brother & wife Mickey & Joni, niece & nephew Aimee and Zack were with him and holding his hands through his transition from this life to the next.
Dear Barbie,
I am so sorry for your loss. I woke up this morning at just prior to 4:00 and could not get Jim off my mind. When I think of Jim, I think of integrity. He was the most loyal and faithful man that I have ever worked with. Jim kept his word and stood by my side through the most difficult time in my life, the drawn out demise of my events business. We were in a position that we had to produce the final events knowing that there was no way to financially succeed. When I asked Jim if he was going bail out before the final events, he said “Reidenbaugh, I gave you my word that I would do this, and it ain’t over till it’s over”. I personally could not have survived all of this without Jim’s support. I remain forever grateful.
Jim was so good at managing the people in the business. He would inspire everyone to succeed and hold them accountable. He was tough enough to stand firm, yet so caring and compassionate with everyone. Barbie, what I will always remember most about Jim is his love for you and your family. He always spoke so highly of you, Macaela and Angie. He was so proud of his family and would light up every time he spoke of you.

Story Time: A Journey to India
A Family Documentary can take on all kinds of shapes and sizes.The following video I produced for Randy Hopkins, a long time friend and client. Randy dropped off his video tapes and digital photos that he captured in New Delhi and asked me to produce something that would commemorate his journey. I had no idea where to begin, so I asked Randy to drop by the studio the following day for an interview.
Shoot the Bride
This is a segment from a wedding video I produced a while back. Andy Anderson is the photographer. Andy is amazing! I have to give him all the credit for bringing the very best out of the bride. Watch at the end of the video. I managed to play off of the natural reflection in the window, as the soon to be bride an groom saw each other for the first time that day. This was filmed at the Arid Club in Boise, Idaho.

Wedding Tips: Feel the Love – Selecting the Right Vendors for Your Wedding
When selecting vendors for your event, good chemistry will make a huge difference on your wedding day. It’s not as critical as the love you have for your husband-to-be, but if you really like and get along with your key vendors; you’re off to a great wedding day. 
I have seen many wedding days unfold over the past 10 years, and the one’s that go smoothly have one thing in common, good people! It doesn’t matter how awesome the DJs speakers are, or how advanced the photographer’s camera is, if you don’t like the people behind them, it will affect your overall experience. Let’s be honest here, the wedding day is all about the bride (you know what I’m talking about grooms-to-be). True professionals will provide services that put the bride at ease. You don’t want to hire a family member to provide services for your wedding, but you do want to hire a professional that feels like they are part of the family (not the crazy aunt, of course).
Now this doesn’t necessarily apply to all of your wedding vendors. I’m talking primarily about the vendors that you will engage with on the day of your wedding. This includes wedding coordinators, photographers, videographers, DJs, and to a lessor extent caterers.
